Caba in Whangarei have Sofnolime, in both grades. Don't know where you can get get medisorb, have tried a few medical suppliers over the phone, without much luck.

I have a contact for course grade sofnolime which will be as cheap as you are ever going to find in N.Z. Vet Source 0800 589958 give them a try about $7 nz per kg

Mark's right, you won't get 4-8 mesh sofnolime cheaper than from the supplier he has mentioned. I'm using their stuff at present. CABA in Whangarei charge an arm and leg for their Sofnolime, NZ$12-15/kg, depending on how much you buy.

You can get Sodasorb, 4-8 mesh from Grace in Wellington (Porirua), for around $8/kg. Ask for Mohan Patel, he's the guy who deals with sorb.

As far as getting sorb in Rarotonga, good luck. Ed at Dive Rarotonga is qualified to teach on the Dolphin, but I don't know if they routinely have sorb or O2 available for RB divers. Shipping it over in advance may be your best bet.
