Extendair: any deterrent beyond cost? BOB +1?

If your unit takes cartridges, is there any reason besides cost (or availability) NOT to dive them?

    More flood tolerant?
    Great (best?) WOB?
    Same or better RT?

And in a BOB config, wouldn't the flood tolerance and guaranteed "packability" be major priorities?

    **likely sidekick purchase imminent**

    Thanks in advance!

I'd say your first sentence sums up why they aren't popular... that's been enough for most of us to pass on them.

This ^ is the other issue.

The vast majority of units are Not compatible- even if you could fit one in, unless the loop flow has been designed specifically for bog-rolls you will get substandard (or dangerous) performance.

Not to mention- Availability (or lack of), difficulty of transport and fragility before you get to the price.
