    Fischer connector - info

I'm looking for some infos about fischer connectors (since i've never used them) for an home-built megalodon head.
What's the best way to use them? Filling them with mineral oil or some other grease before plugging it for the first time and than leave it as long as i can, or is it better to unplug it sometimes for some maintenance?
    Also, are them depth limited?

I was told in class to put a few drops of mineral oil once a year and all should be good. So far no issues but then, I'm a relative newb.

How long do you use a fischer? Don't you unplug it everytime, right?

My idea is that what's allready flooded (with perhaps silicone grease) can't be flooded again...but i don't know about fischer connector at all

Just when you have finished diving for the day or weekend.
