What do you learn in a ccr cave course if you are already oc cave diver?

I wanted to go diving in a flooded mine in europe and was asked for a ccr cave card. I was told that as long as it is two separate cards(ccr and full cave)i would have to go to their quarry for a check out dive. I never bothered to go with them. Sad actually.

Was that Nuttlar? (but I have friends that have dived there and 1 of them had no ccr card at all at that moment and dived there with his ccr).
I know a ccr is not allowed in the Christrine or Schwalefeld. I have dived there oc.

i agree with you Joseph it's important to see its errors and to learn but the cave request so a lot of experiment also i believe no?

Might be allowed again in the meanwhile.
As the rumor has it one of the guys running the business there was mad at CCR divers as they allegedly (by him) are not able to maintain proper buoyancy and disturb (him) the visibility..
Hence at some point he forbid CCR divers to go in.
As the rumor has it indeed there have been some weak CCR divers in there and disturbed some vis..
As we all know there is bad apples averywehere, so not really a great basis to reject a whole group of divers, but this is as far as the story goes why rebreathers where banned there..
AFAIK that guy is not involved anymore to run the show there, so that might change in future (or already has)..
