    almost the same number of parts as in the RB80, not that big a problem.

    * warm scrupper
    * easy clining.
    * better frame
    * better piston
    * better injection
    * flat top so it can stand on the head
    * room for sensore in top, (fisher connection)
    * stronger stein less steal thread fore the loop
    * better WOB
    * can remove the scrubbe / clining the BR whit out loosing the lime.
    * no stein less steal til Alu conection,
    * no Alu at all (only SS and Delrin)
    * protection af dump valve
    * easy asambling of counter lung (no O-ring)

    and so on it is just at much better unit then the RB80 trust me I have used both.

    Nice write down of the unit, did you had a unit with S-tech bottom valve? Since your unit has now Apeks low profile valve? Any difference?

    The Hyperion com as standart whit Apeks Low profile.
    my old "RB80" uses High profile.
    No difference at all. Beside the fact that the Low profile, don't stick out of the button when you fully breath out, and there by is much more protected, special on land wen you are moving the unit, if not the lung is collapsed.

    The Tres Presidentes looks like its still available and if you read their marketing material, they say they use Delrin across all of the units construction - Interesting that others did not...

    I know Morten,
    all replicas are always better than the orignal. Yeah!!

    Previously, I
    also dipped a device with warmer scrubber.

    a warmer scrubber - Hm ...
    easy-clining - 2nd Hm ..
    better frame- really?
    better piston- funny, funny
    better (!) injection -balanced 2nd stages, okay,- perhaps they`re quieter- but better?
    flat top so it can stand on the head- very important!
    room for sensore in top
    – U do´nt trust yourselfe?
    stronger stone less steal thread fore the loop- 4 what's better?
    better WOB
    – You`re sure…
    can remove the scrubber / clining the BR whit out loosing the lime. - Cool!
    …..

    All these better things J

    Greets... and safe (!) diving

    Hi Long John Silver,

    have fun!

    No R190, no Apex...
    It is reported, the main body is made from Delrin. Perhaps it is a known manufacturer.. - there is no indication of the company.
    (the 2nd Stage is non balanced)

    Greets!
    Danny

    Re: RB80 Clones available

    A pscr isn't a regulator, for me a balanced 2° stage isn't need. It's more complex, more complicated to service and over priced. If you want a better wob use helium. I like the r190 for this element because it's easy to have the repair's kit and like says Danny it's not r190. It's look like cheap italian second stage but i think it's not a big problem to adapt r190.
