I should point out that there is a similar configuration using 2 x lp45's as manifolded dil that's much smaller and lighter.

Similar frame design, straight rigid manifold with single isolator.

Bob's a class act, and I know we aren't spoiling for a fight.

We aren't out to change the world, just offering an alternative.

What you see here is essentially Copis Meg with a different way to carry the gas.

    Tobin,

I think the cage is absolutely super. That one item alone is pretty sweet.

I'm not sold on the "two H-valve" thingy. The stuff about "muscle memory" kinda falls flat when you change ONE central valve to TWO valves in new locations (i.e. no longer central). Might be easier to manipulate, but it's not really taking advantage of existing muscle memory (other than getting that elbow up beside your head)...

    Cheers,

    -S

Thanks for the kind words regarding the frame. They are interesting press brake jobs.

The dual isolation serves a couple of functions.

The first is the ability to transport the cylinders independently. That's similar to function of the dual outlet Lola valves. For remote dive sites that's a genuine concern.

The second is to avoid having to rely on the bonnet assembly of either isolator to retain gas. With a conventional isolator one side is pressurizing the seat and the other is pressurizing the bonnet. With dual "H's" both sides are using the seat, not the bonnet.

Muscle memory? That's a valid concern. Most of the valve manipulation is similar to doubles, but it helps to have arms like a Gibbon.

    Hi Tobin,

From the video it sounded as if the O2 is side-slung?

If so how does this setup differ from the much debated UTD MC90?

How does the setup handle the live O2-reg at depth, water-ingress to MFO etc. etc. etc.?
