    Rough on Equipment?

I have been called the "Chief Defiler of Equipment" by Kevin Juergensen and even Bruce and Lynn were nervous when I became their customer for Shearwaters.

It would appear that Swadiver (alias Capt. Addis) has decided to become my rival for this prestigous title.

I submit for your viewing pleasure these pics of another fine mess he has created by cracking a solid chunk of brass. In this particular instance it happens to be an Apeks regulator.

You can view the pics in full size to see the crack better by going here:

My best guess, by looking at where the crack is, is that it was caused by excessive torque on the DIN fitting into the housing.

Wow Jeff I must bow to the master

I am hard on equipment and have been told by more than one manufacturer that they have not seen this or that problem before me. That though is truly impressive.

I've seen Don weld an Optima harness with a blow torch!

So I say it's his fault, he's infectious!

    Re: Rough on Equipment?

See my "Doing It Chasey" video where I'm locked into a padded room, naked, with two ball bearings and within an Hour, I manage to lose one and break the other!!!

Seems it time for a rewrite.....Chasey, DSix36 and Jeff.

    I'll pass on the video.
