OK I will do so unless others members of the forum want to see the screen shots of what problems I am having with GAP and want to know your responses to correct these problems.

Afterall, my point in making the original posting was that if I had know about the issues with your program before I paid a price that is higher than the competitive program which does not seem to exhibit any program problems then I might have made a different decision.

For example you asked me to reinstall the program after my last post and explained that the installation of another program has caused .dll issues. If I had known that I would have to uninstall and reinstall your program when other programs are installed or updated then I would have considered that a negative with your program. I have rarely had an issue with any other program I have installed and do not have the same issues with V Planner. You say there is nothing you can do about it. Once again I wish I had known that before purchasing.

I will now send you a screen shot of the graphic display error on the main screen as the GAP will now start up. I hope you do not tell me its a conflict with my graphic card.

I could not attach this pDF of the truncated run time number on the info screen in the PM I sent so here it is.

People sorry to use this forum as a help desk,

Yep a bug, is fixed. I did not receive a bug report from you, Did receive this bug from a number of people and they got the fix a long time ago.
Gave them a work around too.

Guys just mail me the problems you have and I'll fix it no need to keep it under your hat.

There is a 14 day trail version before you buy ?

please mail me the problems, do not ask for it here as this forum is not a help/service desk for GAP

Obviously the bug fix wasn't emailed to the purchasers or John would not have had this problem.
Does GAP "phone home" to check for updates? If not it is a great way to roll out patches

gap does check for updates, but it only knows of published versions not test builds..

There are alot of different windows configurations out there and isolated bugs do occur.. Many of the strage occurances come from other installers chaging (or updating dlls), some are the new programs falt others are the users fault that when prompted to replace a dll they aswer yes (in this case the no would have copied t new dll to the new softwares location instead of the main dll directory)...

Gap uses alot of library files so these type of problems do occur occasionally.. ssome systems never have any tbls others have had mutiple issues.. Usually once Kees finds a dll that is being replaced alot by other software he then changes his installer to put it in a private directory, its better to correctly use the system dll path (when free) but not every software developer does it correctly and products that don't constanty use the new updated libraries (like gap) sometimes suffer.

indeed I started installing most of my software as "portable" which seems to fix some of those problems. Unfortunately GAP has a license check that would not allow such an installation.
Kees is very nice and keeps providing me with new keys whenever my company decides to change things on my computer, but Iīd prefer a self-contained software that needs no installation to a specific computer. Itīd be easier to run it in a read-only VM also (and use it with linux as OS).

on my laptop (vista business 32) I use virtual pc ( free from m$oft) with installations of various versions of xp and w98 to test software with difefrent enviroments (I also have standard, naui and andi gap installed on the same virtual enviroments).. I havn't tried moving these sessions to other machiens but they do work on the various installs (with their unique keys)

It is now three weeks later and you have done nothing to respond to the screen shot I posted showing the display error.

Maybe you could issue me a complete refund for the ANDI GAP package faster than giving me the bug fix that you say other already had a long time ago.
