    KISS IDA 73

New to scuba board, from hamilton ontario canada

    Hello guys/gals,

Well my name is Eric Cooper, Im new to rebreatherworld, and fairly new to rebreathers in general.

I am a homebuilder at heart, i purchased my first rebreather in the summer of 05, it was a russion ida-73 quite rare, with help from Dave ******, i was able to modify it to a kiss ida. Pictures are on rebreathersite.nl for those who are interested in it. I have a friend that dives an inspo and it was he who convinced me (as i had to also prove it to myself) that mccr for me isnt the way to fly and that an eccr would be in my future.

it took a couple of years for me to finnally part with my ida (sentimental value) and then back to O.C for the past 9 months to finally get my but in gear. I almost bought an inspo, but as a homebuilder the meg is what i finally purchased a week ago...

thats my story and i hope to be welcomed into the group :)

Im attending dema this year for the first time (one of the perks of getting my padi owsi instructors lol) so if u see a tall guy at the isc booth all week with a huge grin on his face playing with a meg, u guessed it its me playing with my new rb! come and say hello, cant wait to pick it up their! then i start training with Tom Mount on the 4th of nov in miami...

and to sum up this seemingly longer than i was going to write post,
I also run a small portable charter operation up here in ontario, i hit all the great lakes and kingston, brockville and rockport check out the web site and feel free to drop me a line if ur up this way and want to check out the sites as my boat is rebreather friendly!

hope to see some of u in the water soon

    Eric Cooper

Welcome to the board. I might take you up on that boat offer, I have been wanting to dive Ontario for a long time.
