Re: Idiots Guide to VR3 cell calibration?

Hi Beanie

I've also faced some problems with calibration when I had my VR3 connected to the SKiss.

Try the guidelines on the link below, hopefully they be useful:

Cheers

Sue

Re: Idiots Guide to VR3 cell calibration?

Looks like I just go the gas wrong, might have to create a quick crib sheet to calibrate it in future - what a faff.

Re: Idiots Guide to VR3 cell calibration?

I still have not managed to get it to calibrate properly and it never seems to track similar to the other cells.... it also seems to need about 20-30 bar O2 before it comes anywhere close, is that normal !!

has anyone got a rough guide to calibration, better than the vr3 manual version

and who knows why: after calibrating with pure O2, the right gas is set (99%), after calibration I get 1.03, even sometimes 1.04

this difference can not come from atmospheric perssure diff?? (I'm at sea-level :-)

paul

(I must admit I don't use the VR3 much anymore :-(

Oh no mine tracked beautifully just at about 1/2 values
But I'm still playing, which is why I didn't bother recalbrating it after I screwed it up.

Re: Idiots Guide to VR3 cell calibration?

Hello,

This is how I do it! First go to gases and chooses 99% Oxygen as Calib gas. Then suck all gas out as if I was doing a 6m oxygen flush for 3 times. Then get in Calib screen till last screen, leave reading to settle and done.
