| Those were my thoughts too. So, for those lucky enough to have 4th cell monitoring which works, we can avoid the nightmare which is switching to each OC gas on the VR£, and instead just concentrate on getting home. And a BOV will make this easier. A BOV you can switch gases to will make it easier still. (Beanie, seems like your 4th cell holder is well-timed... )

I suspected you had a differing opinion and thats why I thought to ask you. I've never bothered to work out a bail plan with the upward journey using SCR. Brent. This would be my position as well. I carry OC bailout I know how to use it and Ill use it if i can no longer reliably get my PP02 from the unit. SCR would only ever be a stop gap to get organised or a method used if I have gone past the limits of my OC bailout. ATB Mark Chase

Three cables going from the head, 2 for the HH and 1 for the VR3, is a bit too much. What's clutter? Just the price you pay for adding extra functionality... A small price, IMHO.I wrap my cable round my arm. Doesn't get in the way once fitted. I don't use it for deco though - the option is there if I need it. I am toying with mounting it on the handset, however when I dived last week with a computer on the handset, I missed having the convenience of looking at my wrist. Maybe if I get a backup VR£ I'll stick it on a handset. Do you have an umbilical torch?
