Question VR3 new algoritm vs Nexus vs VR3 old agoritm

I've noticed that there is a big difference between the Nexus and the VR3 (old algoritm). The VR3 doesn't count down the decotime until you are close to target depth. The Nexus on the other hand seem to count down already on your way up to the target depth. Now I am curious about how the new VR3 algoritm is compared to the old one and to the Nexus. Have anyone compared the different computers/algoritms? - if so, please share your experience.

The last couple posts tie to some of the points that you have raised.
