VR3 strap material availability

I would like to buy a couple of metres of the 25mm/1" wide elasticated strap material used to make the VR3 strap.

Does anyone know where it can be sourced or what it's called?

A couple of metres???? You do realise the VR3 is normally worn on one's wrist not around your pie floater inhaling puku. I believe it is commonly called "Elastic"

Re: VR3 strap material availability

Dive Rite uses the same stuff for their Nitek HE straps and for their O2ptima canister straps. Send me an e-mail at charles@diveriteexpress.com to remind me and I'll get you some from Dive Rite.

For those perplexed by the Antipodean references:

Puku (Maori) beer belly

Pie Floater : a uniquely South Australian delicacy consisting of a square "meat" pie (which contains meatlike material in thick gravy inside a pastry case) floating in a large bowl of thick pea soup. The pie is liberally doused with tomato sauce (ketchup). A fabulous meal at 3am after 27 beers, and spectacular if it should re emerge.

Andrew,

Thanks awfully for the kind explanation of the more than mysterious language. I just snorted Coca Cola all over my expensive keyboard from laughing so hard, you swine!

I just got some from them last week. It also makes great straps for holding down your counterlungs, which is why I bought plenty.
