Its a royal pain in the ass to change, thanfully if you keep things lubed up correctly and clean its not an issue..It's not on ther plug; is it right at the bottom of the socket? I recommend putting dome silicon grease around the outside of the connector at the bottom.. if you get any nicks on this finished piece.. it will leak, and you need a new connector...

(and changing a connector on a VR3 is not under warranty :-( paul
