VR3 cable waterproof cap.

Apparently Fischer do not make a waterproof cap for the plug that goes into the VR3.

Has anyone either found a source for such a thing, or alternatively the ability to manufacture one?

I'd certainly pay US$20 or so for one and I bet there's a lot of people out there who would too.

Let me check my stock at work, Philippe and I ordered a bunch of stuff from Fisher last year and I know that I had ordered a couple of satin nickle plated brass ones They look like this below, do me a favor and email me or Pm me your contact info I will look for them when I get into work tomorrow and contact you.

which size?? I have had both 103 and 104 sized caps..

The 104 I use on my HH and The 103 on the cable that goes to my Explorer (same as 2 pin VR3)

I may be mistaken but I believe the ones for the VR3 are the 103 series

Yup the VR3 7 pin is a 103 Fischer.

Manufacturer: W W FISCHER

Manufacturer Part Number: SE103A057-130

Those pictures certainly look the goods..

From my local Farnell chappy:

With regret both versions of the plug caps (102 & 103 series) are not
manufactured, with no alternatives.

I think you can get them also straight from Delta P. I got mine from them though my caps are the black plastic ones.

Your guy certainly has to learn his product line.. I have both Caps and Plugs in both 103 and 104 sizes, all originally in Fischer packaging..

From Farnell site you can see that the plastic plug for VR3 connector is not manufactured anymore. The brass one (Farnell code 8115141) seems to be in manufacture still.

The sealing plug for the cable end (to 4th cell) is 965406 and seems to be in stock at Farnell also.
