VR3 & Fischer Connector

Hello people,

does anybody know if the 7-pin fischer connector that mates with a VR3 is a SE (sealed locking plug) or a SCE (Sealed "Clic-Loc" plug) version?

Thanks in advance.

Re: VR3 & Fischer Connector

Don't know if this helps you?

I have ordered this:
CA01580
SE103A057 with protective
sleeve fitted on 1.5m of
Belden 1192A connected as per
supplied sample Fischer part
number CA01580

I did get most of the information from a guy in UK - thank you Jonathan!
He gave me this information:
" You need this connector.
Type 103 with IP68 kit.
I just bought one from Fischer UK with 2 metres of cable for £27.28 inc VAT delivered next day to my door."

He also added:
"It might be worth a quick phopnecall to UK as they were very helpful. They also provided the 2m of cable. I just said the same cable as used by DeltaP for the VR3. they knew exactly what to supply."

For some reason the delivery to Sweden is one month.
Maybe out of parts?

Regards

Dan,
Shame that it takes such a long time to post to Sweden. Obviously customer care must be limited to UK customers. Shame they are so nationalistic as it shows on their bottom line whether it is Euros, Kroner, Rand or Dollars they all get converted into GBP.

Glad the info was useful ;-)

Yes,
and as Fischer connector here in Sweden didn't know which plug/cable I was looking for I e-mailed FC in UK.
They didn't answer directly. They forwarded my e-mail to the Swedish office.

They probably want to teach the customer to turn to the office in the customers country!

And Jonathan - do I had to mention that it cost almost twice as mutch as you paid!
(But still cheaper than order it from a (no named) Rebreather-manufacturer)

Criminal, highway robbery. Twice the price, how do they work that out !!
The DeltaP stuff is too expensive. I wish they would sell a 'complete' unit not a unit that has to be constantly upgraded by additional PIN numbers.

If the Heliox Technyon was available I like it much better but I already have a VR3.

Yes, but I really like my VR3!
They are expensive but here in Sweden - for instance Uwatec Smart TEC with all extra - is in fact nearly equally expensive.

And in my case, it is actually Fischer's price. I am not sure if the extra cost is due to the swedish pricing, but as I mentioned before the UK forwarded my order to the swedish office so I think they want me to buy it here, with the swedish price.

Regresidential district (neighbourhood)arding DeltaP pricing one can allways argue but what you pay for is an idea. Someone has figure out how it should work and want some money for that!
On the other hand they can rip you of until they get some competition!

But in this case I can get the plug/cord directly from Fischer without any middlemen's hands - with the exception of of the swedish office?

Anyhow - thank you kindly for the help!
