![]() ![]() ![]() | Is it worth it? Morning all Just recieved an email from DetaP service department and it's not good news ![]() My trusty old VR3 (2.1 2pin fisher) has flooded through the com port and is beyond repair. they hav advised that they will "upgrade for £470" to an equivelent with TX CCR XPO2 Is this worth it or should I concider somthing else? I assume this will become a 7pin io connnector so will need to replace the interface betwen my KISS and Inspiration which I'm not happy about, What are the alternatives, whould a sheerwater offer me similar functionality? What are they selling for at the moment? Thanks in advance Fin |

![]() | Re: Is it worth it? Morning all Bit hard to find a full blown Tx etc computer for 470 quid - go with the upgrade. If not, I'll pay you 50quid for your "dead" unit - sound like a deal?Just recieved an email from DetaP service department and it's not good news ![]() My trusty old VR3 (2.1 2pin fisher) has flooded through the com port and is beyond repair. they hav advised that they will "upgrade for £470" to an equivelent with TX CCR XPO2 Is this worth it or should I concider somthing else? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Don't be daft Fin - get an X1. Seen two going second hand recently. Any computer which needs "servicing" seems suspect to me in this day and age. I'll give you a tenner for the bust one if it helps? I have a cunning plan... ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Totally despicable! (Did you manage it?)One X1 was from a guy giving up due to ill-health. He was selling the rest of his kit so seems fair enough. Don't know about the other one. I might be making that one up though. Did drink more than my fair share at the weekend. ![]() My cunning plan is sooooooooo cunning, but is unfortunately not despicable. Must try harder.
