![]() | Hi all My name is Matt and currently on oc. Ive been a long time watcher of RW and enjoy alot of the reports and home builds and for that I thank you. So this is my first post and its all about the vr3..... Ive been reading colinj's post "Continuous VR3 Issue " when Lancer4545 said about a cap for the fischer connector from narked@90 which i have now ordered after breaking the plastic one that came with it. Quote: There can be a bit of an issue with water getting into the fischer connector and I personally use metal caps instead of the dodgey plastic ones. You can get them from Narked@90 and are not expensive. But if you see any green/blue discolouration on the pins you have a water/corrosion issue and should talk to Delta P about how to remedy it. I have a couple of mates who have damaged the battery cap and had to replace them. this is down to the cheap plastic cap and tool so i emailed narked@90 about a ally battery cap and they have produce a couple for themselves and if there is enought intrest they might market them. I currently have 3 people intrested I was wandering if anyone on hear would be as well.Last edited by thermocad : 25th April 2008 at 06:45. |

I see your point John regarding the VR3 battery cap so I guess nothing will be changed with that for now. But please let me know if you have new nuts for the inspiration battery compartment. Best Regards. Wael |
