![]() | Re: VR3 faulty "dive mode" on the surface I got my VR3 back from Delta P last week. Unfortunately my dives have been blown out both weekends since, so I haven't had the chance to try it out. I'll post updates if the weather ever allows diving again! |

![]() | Re: VR3 faulty "dive mode" on the surface Hi, I had the same problem with my new VR3 bought last year...The batteries goes flat very quickly since it goes in dive mode (showing about 30 m), and then in surface mode, return in dive mode,....I had about 100 dives in 24 hours recorded in the "usage" screen. Well known problem...You just have to send the computer back to the factory, and they will give you back a new electronic in your computer body. I had to send mine back two times for the same problem in one month ;o(, but now I have a perfectly working device. I had the same problem on my old VR3 (still the brick model), so the conclusion is : "when you have a working VR3, keep it like if it was gold" ![]() Johnny

I sent mine in a month ago for a firmware update/health check, and found out today its spent the whole month sitting at an Undisclosed Location waiting to be shipped to someplace else for someone to look at it.I had to send mine back two times for the same problem in one month ;o(, but now I have a perfectly working device. ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: VR3 faulty "dive mode" on the surface Hi. A friend of mine had the same problem during a dive. We’d been diving to 55m for 40-45 min. On deco stop it suddenly showed that he was diving at some 100m and had about 200 min deco and then it froze. ![]() He send it to Delta P and got it fixed. Heard about other VR3’s in Denmark doing some weird stuff. Had my VR3 for about 5 years and it newer did any tricks. ![]() Thorsten. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: VR3 faulty "dive mode" on the surface HI A friend of mine bought his new VR3 months ago. Same problem I helped get the machine back to Delta P through a returning friend. It seems to be a common problem in the "newer" VR3's... Luckily mine works fine (touch wood). I have an older model with V3.03aA programming. What get to me, is that there seems to be an inherent problem with the machine, and the unknowing customer has to pay for shipping and a Customs clearing agent / broker to get the machine cleared through Customs as a export for return, otherwise you have to pay VAT again on the subsequent return, or spend years (in vain) fighting customs.. That seems a bit wrong to me.. Regards Johan

Hi, I am living in Belgium, quite closed to the south of England, where the factory is located, so it could explain why it took only a couple of days to be shipped. The computer was repaired in a couple of days too...
