Prolink software keeps crashing

Hi guys,
Wanted to download dives again of my VR3 computer to see if pO2 maintenance looked as good on a 19-inch monitor as it did on the VR3 screen

...

Anyway, downloading was successful and then program started to update database. During that I think my VR3 went to sleep / entered standby mode...

I then got the following pop-up message:

Run time error '55':
File already open

As soon as I close this file, the program shuts down.

In the background I can see window saying:

Database being updated. Please wait....

Anyway, to solve problem I tried to:

1. restart computer and Prolink: same run time error '55' pops up.
2. I removed Prolink and re-installed software; after computer re-boot, still same message...

Anyone got any idea how I can fix this problem so that I can use Prolink again?

I had a similar problem with an original disc in the end I down loaded the por link 07 software from the link below, hope this helps. David

Hi David,
Thanks for reply! Followed your suggestion and it seemed to have worked..at least the program is running again. Lost downloads but will try and fix that up tonight...
