version 5.03 Vs 2007vC3.no display name register?

Hi guys,

i purchased my second VR3 now, is obviously a newer version. i just seem not to be able to set the display like the previous one. when i start my previoys one, i've set it to show my name and my mobile number. while my new one seems not to have this function.

Do you know anything about it?

also, if you have any comments to add, or any tips, that would be very well welcomed (and appreciated off course)

I think you can add this information when you enter in your PIN. You should be able to go back through it, but it does mean re-entering the PIN number again.

Thanks, but it seems that the pin was pre - entered before. i've tried a lot but it did not work. maybe others might had the same problem.

It should allow you to enter your personal details after you have entered your C4 pin number, there are a few pointers here;

One confusing thing that VR3s do is the long pause after you just entered the last digit of the PIN. This pause I assume is the time it takes to verify and unlock that PIN's functions. Once the VR3 is done with that it will show your entire PIN including the last digit. This is when you are allowed to enter your personalized message. I just did this on a 2007 version and it works, it's a PITA but it works.

Hi

you can also use the Prolink 2006 software to enter and download a pin to the VR3. But this requires the PC transfer option.

hello guys,

i've sent an emial to the VR3 guys, and Rebreather World store guys, and they came back with a pin number and its all sorted. that is great! Thanks to you all for contributing.
