![]() | OK, done all stages and millivolt reading does not change. Once unit is calibrated to 98% and I breath off the loop the reading does not change. either port is stuck on vr3 or cell has gone very wrong. so...I changed the cell and no change, still gives me the exact same mV rating, surely that can't be correct. Going to give up for this evening and try again tomorrow. Cheers Mark |

Ive found them to be very helpful and it would save mud slinging when most of the time the user is in error (and Im speaking from personal experience here - i hate reading instruction manuals )

Hi Mark,Going to give up for this evening and try again tomorrow. Cheers Mark I have been having a similar problem with mine. No matter whether I calibrate in air or 98% there is still a difference in the PO2 reading. I dived it once and had all sorts of warnings after the PO2 reading went sky high once I was at depth, so I changed back to fixed setpoint and continued the dive without incident. I emailled AL Wright at Deltp P and he was very helpful. After I did all the checks he suggested he then said it was best to send it back and have it checked over which I now plan to do. I am running an earlier software version so I will get it updated at the same time. AL Wright's email at Delta P support@vr3.co.uk Regards, Lance

After messing around with the settings and many attempts to get the 4th cell to read correctly I finally sent it back to have it checked over and have the software updated to V2007. I have just had a reply from them to say the board was found to be faulty and they have replaced it free of charge. All I had to do was pay to have the software updated. That's fantastic service in anyones language. Thanks Al and the guys at Delta P !!! Regards, Lance

Probably because of the position. This is why I never used it. Just pendant and a VR3 CCR. That's it. Nad

Also, O2-flush three times when calibrating the VR£ in an Inspo - it seems to help.Just pendant and a VR3 CCR. That's it. Nad For the original poster, if he hasn't bought a Pursuit yet: If the cell seems to be playing up, try calibrating in a plastic bag of O2 - easier to guarantee 100% O2 for testing. |

| New Member ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: about to throw VR3 brick away I had problems in this area just by misunderstanding the set up procedures for 'CAL GAS'. Once I stepped through the instructions idiot fashion, read and did every line (desperately hard for an engineer who always knows exactly what to do) I finally got it to set up cleanly. I admit that with a nice colour text screen it could be a lot more helpful. For things we don't do often we don't need a pretty graphic we need words and numbers. If it said "If you are seriously telling me you are calibrating this on 18/40 trimix why the heck am I getting 50mV out of the cell?" it might even get through to dumb me that maybe I hadn't set it to NX99 like I thought I had. Just "CAL GAS=NX99" would help so much.
