VR + Prolink, problems downloading dive data

I did the same thing. And I even have both the IR link (which I never got to work) and the USB cable (which kind of works). The Prolink software is also a big disappointment.

My VR3 IR adaptor hated artificial light. It seemed to work OK if it was dark or indirect sunlight but fluorescent strip lights stopped it dead. I bought the USB cable.
