VR3 manual - please post

Hey guys,

I am getting errors in ZIP file when I download VR3 manual from delta-p site. can someone post the file here. Also, does anyone have the "easy to use" VR3 manual (not only the Operators Manual).

Check the Dive Rite Express they have the manual online.

Thanks I did find the link. I thought I saw it there before...

There is also an EASY TO USE manual that I can't seem to find online.

Quick Set up Guide
Page 1
. Switch on the VR3

0 Short push on left switch to open start-up screen
0 Check battery voltage OK
0 Short push on left switch again to open Home screen
0 Short push on both switches; (DiveNow will appear)
(This gives you five minutes in between switch pushes to set up your VR3)
0 Short push on right switch until menu icon appears (it may already be displayed)

. Prepare the VR3; SETUP menu

0 With menu icon shown, long push on right switch to enter OPTIONS screen
0 Short pushes on left switch until SETUP is highlighted
0 Short push on right switch to open SETUP
0 Short push on left switch to move highlight through fields
0 Short push on right switch to adjust setting in fields
0 Units (toggles between feet and metres)
0 Safe (to add safety margin to the VR3's decompression calculations (settings 0 to
50 in increments of 10; 50 = most conservative)
0 CNS (settings 80% to 200%; level at which airbreak alarm will show)
0 Light (screen back lighting; five options available)
T................... Light on for 10 seconds at the surface or underwater
Y................... Light always on at the surface and underwater
D.................. Light off at the surface, light on underwater
N.................. Light always off (not available in Colour Screen units)
d.. .. . .. .. ..... Light on for 10 seconds underwater
0 LCD (screen brightness; 0-100 - = brighter; + = darker)
0 Time (set date and time using + and - switches)
(short push on both switches to move highlight)
0 Prog (do not adjust this setting)
0 Short push on both switches to return to OPTIONS screen

. Prepare the VR3; Final Stop Depth

0 In the Home screen, short push on left switch while DVo is showing
0 Short push on both switches to move highlight to the figure under StopD
0 Short pushes on right or left switch to confirm choice of final stop depth

0 Long push on both switches to exit Dive Modes screen back to DiveNow screen

0 ON OFF field activates or deactivates the gas
Set gases you will use on this dive to ON
Set all other gases to OFF
0 Long push on both switches to save settings and return to SELECT screen

. Prepare the VR3: Confirming the right gases are set for the dive (OPEN CIRCUIT)

0 In the SELECT screen short pushes on the left switch will take you through your active gases 0 When your first dive gas is displayed, short push on right switch to return to DiveNow screen 0 First dive gas will show on screen together with Last Stop selected

. Prepare the VR3; Setting diluent and P02 (CLOSED CIRCUIT DIVING)

0 Short push on left switch until gas bottle icon appears
0 Long push on left switch to enter SELECT screen or CLOSED CCT screen
0 If in SELECT screen, long push on both switches to enter CLOSED CCT screen 0 Short push on left switch'to adjust internal P02 setpoint (.40 to 2.00)
0 Short push on both switches to move to DIL SELECT screen
0 Short push on both switches to enter ADJUST screen
0 Short push on left or right switches to adjust highlighted field by increment of one 0 Long push on left or right switches to adjust highlighted field by increment of ten 0 Short push on both switches to move highlight to next field
0 NX field adjust 02 content in diluent gas
0 NX-'_field adjust He content in diluent gas (set 0 if no He in gas)

Set all other gases (including bailout and decompression gases) to OFF
0 Long push on both switches to save settings and return to SELECT screen

. Prepare the VR3: Confirming the right gases are set for the dive (CLOSED CIRCUIT)

0 In the SELECT screen short pushes on the left switch will take you through your active gases 0 Only your diluent dive gas should be displayed,
0 Confirm that it is with a short push on right switch to return to CLOSED CCT screen
0 Further short push on right switch to return to the DiveNow screen where your diluent gas will
be showing together with the current VR3 internal set point and the Last Stop depth

. Prepare the VR3: Setting two setpoints (CLOSED CIRCUIT)
0 If you plan to use two internal P02 setpoints on the dive you may set a second P02 internal
setpoint in the Closed Circuit screen without losing the previous setpoint entered.
0 During the dive you can change between the last two setpoints entered by returning to the
CLOSED CCT screen and a long push on the left switch.

GO DIVING Enter the water with the screen either on or off. If the screen is off when you enter the water the VR3 will automatically turn on within one minute of exposure to a pressure of 1.3ATA or greater.
