BTW Barrie I also need an HP cable link... how much is that Hi Robinzon,![]() That is for the old C5 kit sorry the site should have been updated. The RRP for the new Prolink 2007 is 240 USD for; Vr3 Prolink 2007 with USB to I/O connector cable kit includes; PC downloading activation PIN New Prolink Dive Logging Software Proplanner Decompression Planning Software (Dos Version) Personal detail editor and pin loading software USB to I/O Connector Cable in zippered pouch with pocket Prolink CD There is also a reduced package for those who already have the pin number and that consists of all the above but without the Pin Number and it costs 120 USD. There is also a new pin called a UG15 and this add-on package consists of two dedicated pins; Deco Books Pin which enables VR owners to download pages of text to have something to read during long decompression and the screen saver Pin to personalise the Vr3 with a customised logo design of your choice. (Idef have the PC Link feature and have the old ProPlannet for Trimix/CC). Do you know if I can DOWNLOAD (not upload to the computer) the PINS that are already there (my software is 2.0CXR as I have mentioned before). Also as far as the HP Hose I know that you have to send it to factory for calibration?!? What's the turnaround time like for this? You are in UK correct? |

The Vr3 does have to go to Delta P for the HP link activation but it turns around in about a week. I am in Ireland but you can send the Vr3 directly to Delta P I still have to check with them tomorrow about the pin downloads with version 2.0CXR but it is a holiday in the UK today. Regards

| Gadget guru extrordinaire Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Anyone has ProLog software? Where did you get that quote? I saw the kit online for $259 at diveriteepxress and somewhere else though usually they are overpriced by about %30 at least (for example color upgrade is listed as $459 but is actually $318 at the LDS)... do tell where I can get it cheaper?!? def. let me know if thye can be downloaded from Computer software 2.0CXR... Delta is very slow with replies to their emails Where did you find $318 for the color upgrade? From what I've been told, DeltaP forces a fix priced schedule on the dealers. I've been thinking of upgrading mine to the color as well.![]() Also, I've been trying to do my research on the VR3 ProLink software. I wish DeltaP would just put a proper link up for the software. Their link is from 2003 ProLog 1.31. I bought the kit back in March, and now they are putting out this kit with a USB to Fischer interface. The one I got comes with the serial to Fischer interface. It never fails, does it? |

Regards Let me see if I’ve got things straight, and PLEASE correct me if I’ve got my head up where the ole’ Sun don’t shine: My VR3 has version 3.03aC software w/ download pin. Right now, w/ effort, I download to the older version of ProLog via the PITA IR link. If I download & install the 2006 ProLog version from the Boris site on my desktop and buy the (pin-less) $120 USB-Fischer cable kit from you, I should be able to download dives via USB and bin the IR link since my already installed pin is still valid. Correct? Also: Is the download software in the pin-less kit the same as that downloadable from the Boris site? Thanks, Ken
