![]() | VR3 Nitrox vs Trmix gas selection... Hey all, For those of you who only have Nitrox (and not trimix) enabled on their VR3, do the Trimix gases show up in gas selection and you simply cannot turn them ON? or they do not show up under gases at all? thanks |

There are no preset gas mix except air. ATB Mark Chase

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: VR3 Nitrox vs Trmix gas selection... Hi Correct - Without the Trimix enabled you can only setup the O2 content of a gas. Displayed as 32 NX. There is no change to enter the HE content. With the Trimix option you can first enter the O2 content and after that the HE content. Displayed as 15/55 TX DINspiration |

The 1st couple of times I changed the battery on my VR3 I lost the PINs and it reverted to O/C nitrox, I had to re-enter all the PINs! Hasn't happened last few times though. Make sure you switch the VR3 on, and then let it turn off itself before you change battery, and change the battery in plenty of time - the 3.6V litium ones have a VERY steep discharge curve at the end of their life, change when it drops to 3.4V. It would be worth getting in touch with delta-P, with your VR3's serial number. They know which units have had the extra PINs bought and hopefully will therefore tell you them in case of problems. ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: VR3 Nitrox vs Trmix gas selection... Hi, With a revision C mainboard and firmware 3.xx or higher the VR3 can not loose the pins and logbook data any more during a battery change... Switch it on and wait until it turns off is still the recommended way to start changing a battery. You have a potential problem if you don't know the PINs.
