Can anyone decpiher VR3 Pin Screen?

Hey guys,

Just got a VR3 off of someone recently. At any rate the PIN screen says

Tx CC * P

Now I KNOW that the unit is CC/Nitrox activated... but from that screen (and from the available Gases menu) I am sure that Trimix is also available (ie PIN is active?!?!) also what would the "P" stand for? (there is a strange doubledot symbol between the CC and P... (btw the secondary PIN i have says PC pin... the primary PIN is for OC NX)...

Thanks

I wish they had a reference for all the symbols on the PIN screen.

Re: Can anyone decpiher VR3 Pin Screen?

Thanks... where'd you get that list?

so then if my VR3 says the following:

Tx CC**P that means its Trimix/Closed Circuit/PC link?

I am not sure what the double dot symbol means between the CC and P?!?

thanks

Hi

Yes that is correct. Your computer is a Trimix, Closed Circuit with enabled PC download function. I never saw a Pin with **. What is your firmware version?

I have this list, because I wrote the German user manual for the VR3 and the PIN description is part of my new manual for the firmware 2007v.

Re: Can anyone decpiher VR3 Pin Screen?

The reason I am asking is that the guy I bought the computer off of thought it was a CC Nitrox computer. But the computer is Tx/CC for sure. The thing is that he cannot find the CC PIN, all I have in the back of the booklet are the OC NX and PC (?!?!) PINS but not the CC/Tx PINs. I would like to send the unit off to do a color screen and/or HP hose upgrader (I do have a 2.02CX software I believe with 7 pin connector) and I am afraid that if the unit gets a software upgrade I will loose the features (ie Trimix, CC) and if I do not have the pins I would loose $$$ in functionality. Will Delta P be able to email me the pins for the features installed? The dealer he bought the unit off of is no longer in business.

Yes just drop them an e-mail. You will probably need a receipt of the purchase beside the Reg Nr.

Best,
Nad
