And another thing...

Does anyone know if this is going to be a user-selectable option, or will it be either a VPM VR3, or a Buhlmann VR3?

Robert
It will be user-selectable before a dive but is locked in once the dive has commenced.
Delta P are releasing the VPM-B as an option, the normal software Buhlmann 16 with microbubble stops added will still be the standard in new Vr3's.
The VPM-B will cost 193 stg if orderd with a new unit or if you add it to an existing Vr3 version 3.0 software.
As you will notice the prices seem to be causing distress and there is nothing I can do about that, but Delta P have been at this for 2 years and they clearly believe it is value for money, I intend reserving judgement on value for money untill I have dived with it.

Cheers

Come into this thread very late, but why is anyone surprised by the price. I have to agree it is steep, but it is also par for the course from Delta-P. That being said, the odds are I will still upgrade to it. Which ever way you look at it, it is still cheeper than buying an Explorer.

Sad but true.

I think Jerome is trying the VPM version. Maybe he can suggest something if he's not somewhere in a hole...

DeltaP had a public announcement regarding the VPM software at their booth.
I asked Tammy earlier to mail me a copy which I'll post then.
