Vr3 download problem no profiles

Ok downloaded yesterdays dives to the pc but there are no profiles to view

VR£ is v2.1cxr & using prodive version 1.3.3 any body got any ideas ? the times of start, end & duration are there but no max depth or any profile

You need to enter your VR3 firmware details into the file vrfirm.dat in the Prodive directory before it will download profiles correctly.

There was a document on this on the VR3 website VR3 and VR2 Dive computer from Delta P Technology

From the VR3 FAQ on the website: Open VRFIRM.DAT in a text editor
Add the software version listed on the bottom line of the start up
screen on your VR3, (this will look something like V2.1CXR)
(Capital letters must be capitalized)
(if the VR computer has Version 3 .0 software loaded, when typing the software version in your Vrfirm file, omit the final capital letter. (This means if the bottom line on the start up screen reads V3.03aB, type in V3.03a). Add a comma, then add the number 2.)

Hi Colin,

I was looking at the New Delta P download software for the Vr3 on Wednesday of this week and it is a massive improvement on the current software, I will attach a few pictures.

Delta P are also shortly releasing there I/O to PC connector (USB) that makes downloading a lot simpler it comes in a carry pouch and costs about 60 GBP.

The software will be free and can be down-loaded from the net soon, it will also be available on a disc.

You will also need the Pin Number to download the Vr3 info to the PC this will cost about 60 GBP also but if you already have the download the same pin will suffice.

Also a new plastic screen guard that truly looks unbreakable and unlike the last clear plastic guard this one I can highly recommend.

I have plenty of video taken at the factory featuring both the Vr3 and the Ouroborus production area's and the testing rigs and I will post them as soon as they are edited, here are few pics.............................

This looks very much like the pclink software from the boris ? which if it is I have it on disc from Al already but the bug in it is that I have to enter the download pin everytime & it will only download the last dive ,so if you do 2 dives in one day then it will only download the last one .If I could get it to work properly I agree it is nice as it gives a lot more info on the download .

Hi Colin,

It was from Al's (Alan Wright) computer that I took the pics but he did not mention any bugs maybe they are sorted out now. The new software disc will be available from Delta P in a week or so and it will be possible to get it as a download so I am sure it will be posted somewhere here on Rebreather World.

The new download pouch and USB + 9 pin I/O connector can be seen in the picture listed below along with Al and his wife Fredda.
