| doria june 19th Planned to dive sunday and monday too but u take what the weather gives you. I was last diver in- waited till early afternoon- and by golly the current eased up. Vis on the wreck was about 30-40' , . we were tied in near the bow , the break there. headed astern some-shifted thru the mess on the bottom. lots of big fish. did a nice 30 minute dive- some swell above 30' on the hang-but so was there a nice toasty thermocline. My o2ptima worked as it should. I decided to wait till the next dive to bring along my camera- and that turned out to be a bad choice. The ride back in 6-8 ft ++ was not too bad- that John Jack a tough red boat. Had 7 nice guys from canada along- all OC- only the crew on rebreathers'. It was good seeing my buddy Tex ! Last year booked 4 trips never made it out- this year 3 -and got 1 dive in. So it is -same as it ever was- . Still one of the greatest dives i have done in my 30 yrs of diving. ![]()
