I have a trip planned for Piura Peru next year - does anyone know of any dive shops or locations for any rebreather or OC diving in peru?

Hi Patti,

There was a thread on this a while ago - http://www.rebreatherworld.com/rebre...highlight=peru. The consensus was that there wasn't much doing, OC or CC. A shame, as I'd wanted to give it a try on the next family visiting trip.

Since then, someone has posted on Rebreather World who lives in Lima and IIRC, dives a Meg. He is NickT on here. He'll clearly know more about it

Cheers,

It's a lovely country though and well worth visiting even if you can't dive. Lovely people (as my wife tells me ).

Cheers,

Re: Peru

Thanks
I will be visiting with a group of people on a good will trip for the people of Peru. I am sure I will enjoy every minute that I will spend in Peru.

You might want to bring your meg to Machu Picchu. The oxygen is pretty thin up there

I was in Lima in '83 with the navy. Didn't dive then.
