Questions. http://www.bubbleseekers.com/html/fr.../titan_set.htm Are you looking for a state-of-the-art rebreather that exceeds expectations? This new unit was created by a team of expert engineers and divers to fit all body types and be the easiest to use both at home and abroad. The modern shell is made of anodized aluminum and ABS plastic. All other components are Delrin or stainless steel. The Titan is a very strong and durable unit in a compact size. This unit is small enough to be a carry-on item. The Titan’s options set it apart from the rest while retaining the ability to supply units and parts to customers quickly. Please read further about the revolutionary computer that compliments the Titan. The unit promises excellence in diving technology for the 21st century. Points of InterestTITAN C.C.R. · Titan is a back-mounted counter lung rebreather with a 6 liter, clear poly-film breathing bag. · The DSV valve is mold-injected Delrin and is virtually indestructible. · The Titan utilizes Extendair cartridges for easy packing and consistant and dependable CO2 cleansing. · The Titan has manual cut off valves for the oxygen solenoid and the ADV. · The ADV is basically the internal workings of a Scuba Pro RS390, making it easily repaired and parts are readily available throughout the world. · There are manual addition valves for O2 and diluents. A third off -board gas hook up and manual addition valve are optional. · The entire unit is built upon a custom back plate, designed specifically for the Titan, allowing most standard, technical BCD’s to be attached to it with minimal effort. We will assemble a rebreather with the BCD of your choice. · The unit is sold with two 13 cu. ft. Catalina tanks. The tanks are positioned out board of the unit allowing any tank to be implemented. · The first stages are Scuba Pro MK 25 DIN. · The Titan also has a 60 micron filter as an option for the O2 solenoid. This customer replaceable filter will extend the life of your O2 solenoid and help prevent the solenoid from sticking in the open position due to particle build up. · The ABS shell is available in multiple colors. TITAN C.C.RElectronics The Titan has a truly unique computer system. It’s capabilities will astound you. We have condensed the power of a full desk top P.C. to the size of two cigarette cases. The Benthic P.C. is depth rated to 1,000 fsw. There is no need to bring your laptop on dive trips anymore. Your Benthic P.C. will run your rebreather as well as check your E-mail. · Pentium M 600 MHz., 1.1ghz or 1.6 GHz processor · 512 MHz or 1 gig of RAM · 1gig. or 2 gig. operating systems drive · 20 gig, 40 gig, 60 gig and soon 100 gig. removable hard drive with USB 2.0 connection. After a trip, you can download your stored dive data and pictures to your P.C. at home. · Internal Wi-Fi card. · LAN connector · Two wet mateable USB 2.0 ports. · One standard USB 2.0 port · 3.5” depth rated LCD monitor with 640 x 480 lines of resolution. · Depth rated trackball type mouse. · Wiring harness for the rebreathers O2 solenoid, oxygen solenoid control and feed back system and the heads up display. The Benthic P.C. is compatible with almost any rebreather. There are many more options currently being finalized and we hope to release soon. Even with all of these advancements our price is still competitive and comparable with other rebreathers or computers already on the market. Please call for pricing. Wrong site, it's bubbleseekers.comOdd very odd. any one know this party and or have more info? I met Tomar Gross a couple of years back at the SCUBA Show in Long Beach. It's his CCR2000 in the gallery, in front of an Azimuth. He was indeed an OMG dealer. Back then he had just gotten a (Mini - I believe) Meg for recreational diving, he used the CCR2000 for UW filming. Big camera is easier to handle with rear counterlung. He was waiting for the Nemesis which was on the show circuit. Ended up selling the Meg to Peter Den Haan who has since become an instructor on it. Tomar bought several CCR2000 when the cmpany went out of biz here at the West Coast. Don't know what happened to those. The TiTan logo has been on his site for a while, and I phoned and left a message bout it quite a while ago. Never heard back from him. Left another one yesterday eve, and will let you know if he returns my call. As he's local here in the L.A. area I wouldn't mind stopping by and having a look at the TiTan if there indeed is one. ![]()
