| Curmudgeon | O show in vegas? Hey I just got back from a weekend in vegas. We saw the cirque de sole show, O which has a fair amount of water stuff in it. I was curious about what kind of support staff they have during the show. Anyone worked on it or know somone who has? Also in one scene, they showed a bunch of divers coming out of the water. I looked like all open circuit, and it looked like they were wearing force fins Also, if anyone has seen the show, or has background info, what the hell was it all about anyway? |

| Re: O show in vegas? I saw the show when in Vegas a few years ago. There was that one scene when they lift the bottom and all the divers are lifted out of the water like fish flounder on shore. I thought that they were wearing scuba with some OTS comms and it looked like they had multiple Octo’s running. The fins were split fins uck… and the rest of the gear was blacked out. Incredible show- want to see it again. What is the show about- no freaking idea- but it was fun. Review- http://www.vegas.com/searchagent/eve...iew.do?id=7845 Mandalay Bay- had a great shark exhibit while we were there. There was a very nice (as in huge) fish tank in another casino. Plus, the water show at Bellagio was one of our favorite free shows. Funnily enough the cannel at the Ventian is less than 3ft deep- that was funny.:p When I go again I plan on staying at Harahs or the north end of the strip. Biggest surprise was the New York, New York wanting $20.00 to ride their roller coaster- yikes. Vegas was not cheap but was fun- bring your walking shoes. Andrew |
