WANTED:Sympathy.

You all think I will be off work and be captioneering? Anyway, I'm ruling my entries invalid as I've won to many times so they are for chuckles only. I did dive after I did the other ankle-Well, I was on the way to the water when I did it, so it would have been rude not to.

I was off sea diving for 19 months as I couldn't take the boat motion. It's still not completely healed after 2+ years. At least I can get my motorbike boots on so I can go race shool at Donny on Wed. The way my luck is going be prepared for an obituary.

I must say that the standard of piss taking is a bit down on what I thought it would be.

Dave - I only have four words of sympathy for you ...

HARDEN THE F*CK UP!!

A real man would have chewed off the foot above the ankle, bound the stump with a dirty rag and be on the dock next morning. 19 months off of sea diving ... oh, how far the Empire has fallen. And didn't you mention at one point that you do inspections for HSE (or whatever the department of mamby-pambying is called)?? I guess having clumsy inspectors constantly hurting themselves either makes them that much more effective, or justifies their existence ...

(how was that for piss taking?)

Seriously though, to the other David, you have my sympathy. I really do hope that this one heals rather faster than the last. On the plus side, you've badly strained both, so as long as you leave that third leg alone as advised, you're done for life now

Let me cut you off there; stop wincing. I meant metaphorically. Specimen gathering only becomes necessary if the above mentioned injury becomes infected. Think you can fill a specimen bottle while standing on one leg? If not, take preventative measures now. Wire brush and dettol should sort it, but you may have to ride your bike standing up for a while.

I don't work for the HSE [or any government lot], but they keep me in a job.

I'll be off to Donny on Wed though to partake in some motorbike hooliganism.

Hopefully I won't crash a multi K bike, be run over by my mate and threatened by the mechanics this time.
