Hi,

The fact that someone "Does It Right", doesent imply that all others are "Doing it Wrong". Its more like "think what you do when diving, and please do it as properly ass you can".

I know its a lot of negative feelings ass. with DIR, I dont know why, its just about attitudes, good training and optimalisation of equipment and procedures.

I guess anyone agrees with this, but its hard to admit when you have the "wrong" equipment and different procedures ( CCR rebreathers etc)

But personally I think this is about to change, CCR divers have presented their tool at the GUE Conference 2008, which is a step in the right direction!

You also have DIRrebreathers who are workin to standarise equipment more safer protocols.

Why are you happy to be "strokes" ?

This test is of course just a joke, but in "real life" a "stroke" is simply: "someone with a unsafe attitude" and i guess nobody will be a part of that categorization..

Even

Been anywhere near Portland, Weymouth recently ??

The problem with DIR is not the concept - It's the condascending approach of SOME of its practicioners ....... SOME of whom are in no position !

If I'm a stroke because of a CD wing ............... stroke me !

Safe diving ALL of you.

LOL - we've all fallen into that trap, not least those who used to try to argue with the folks on Techdiver

Good grief no. Get with the program:

A 'stroke' is just somebody who doesn't agree with you.

No, its not! Most DIR divers dont walk around and call people strokes because they dive Rebreather, but I assume some of you guys here have had similar experiences by some, since you start me.

No, im not trolling now, but maybe later on :
