As far as I know they are all in favour of rebreathers. You can use any brand and type for any dive as long as:DIR status: 81 % There is no questions about rebreathers.....rs -the dive requires one and -the RB80 is used... (inspired by Henry Ford )

I nearly wet myself when some DIR dork still wet behind the ears accosted me in Portland and told me I was a stroke cos of my inverted tanks. Clearly his 6 weeks of DIR experience vastly outweighed more than 20 yrs of UK diving!!And that was before I discovered helmet mounted lights. I considered that the ultimate accolade. I then challenged him to put on his set and shut his left pillar valve. He kept going for the middle one. Once he managed to find it all he did was open it!! I showed him how fast I could do it on the inverted set and rather shut him up. I want a T-shirt... Im a Stroke ...and Proud of it!! Steve |

Clearly his 6 weeks of DIR experience vastly outweighed more than 20 yrs of UK diving!! Thankfully, 10% Stroke makes me a Stroke - Thank God ! I too was accosted by a Knob-Jockey in Portland a few years ago, we stopped short of giving the arrogant twat a kicking .... on the boat later in choppy weather, his scooter dragged him off the lift platform, a very elegant belly flop, sans reg - you just can't buy that stuff !!!I then challenged him to put on his set and shut his left pillar valve. He kept going for the middle one. Once he managed to find it all he did was open it!! I showed him how fast I could do it on the inverted set and rather shut him up. I want a T-shirt...
