Oxygen Sensor Replacements

Several months ago I bought 3 Teledyn sensors from well know mail order shop in Florida. One of the sensors was bad right out of the box and one of the others went bad with in 2 weeks. When I called them they said email Teledyn and deal with them on the replacemet. I was kinda pissed as I had recently bought them and they did not want to deal with replacing them. It turns out my sensors were part of a bad batch and they said they would replace them free. Well finally 4 weeks later I received the replacements.

A few months back I bought a spare cell from Fill Express. The cell went bad within a few weeks. I brought it back this morning and was given a replacement cell.

I would like to that them for the great customer service.
Regards
Marty

I have also noticed that Fill Express has some outstanding customer service.

You can't go wrong with them (well, except for Lil' Ricky)

Marty,

I depends on the type of sensors.. I doubt the mail order company didn't want to deal with you.. Sometime last year teledyne changed the warranty in the US to a direct replacement to/from the customer to so that they get faulty cells more quickly instead of them sitting around and they can do a meaningful analysis..

another reason is that some of the Rebreather manufacturers are buying cells directly instead of through a distributor, and the US distributor (Oxycheq) was getting cells that shouldnt have been sent to him..
