Once, in my dark and distant past, I did ONE dive in a system called Grobblers'. I was 15 years younger, 10 kgs lighter (it may be the other way around). SRT drop into the system, 2 hours of dry caving through pretty squeezy stuff to do a 10 minute dive in no viz (the other guy in front had some), lines cutting into the walls, etc. followed by two hours of crawling and a jumar out ..... the CDG guys have my respect.Quite a difference when Im in florida. I like seeing the fat guys using a little trolley to push their twins to the steps Now that I've hopefully polished some marbles, will you guys come and rig Dragon's Breath next year and be good sherpas?

If the excerpt (word file) on underwater digging that Duncan Price allowed me to read is included in this version ;it would be worth the price on that unbelievably comprehensive and humbling data alone!!! Explanations on how to protect inner air spaces while chemically removing debris shows how truly devoted the Brits are!~  Invaluable information. |
