I hope you mean 'whack' and I'll put it down to you spending too much time with sheep.

Screws aren't whacked in, they are screwed in. Nails are hammered in. Road surfaces are compacted with a 'Wacker'. The only thing that is whacked is a piece of malfunctioning or recalcitrant equipment. Or dentists that take the mickey out of engineers...

I had a trainee with me the other week who didn't know the difference between a screw and a bolt.

well taking teh mickey out of engineers - well there is just sooooo much material, one cant resist

Or did you have a root canal lately and now try to let it out on a poor innocent ex-pat dentist ?

hmm bolt vs screw - cant really help him there, i am only using screws for my patients as they come in nice self tapping, self advancing designs, so i can screw quicker as i need dosh and time for diving

Ooh come on there's not that much difference. They can both be hammered in....

That's what we call a transition fit. Probably started off as an interference fit though.

If you ever go to Thailand I hope you know the difference, or else 'getting a filling' will take on a whole new meaning for you!

Hope the bloke that fixes your kit doesn't read this...

Oh come on, it's not the size that matters, it's the accuracy and range!

Tools shouldn't be too shiny. Changing the subject, have you dived the Poor Knights? And what is the New Zealand fixation with twins? A couple of friends [twin sisters] were over there recently and some people were surprised to see twins.

Brown hair, and one of them is my ex GF, who I still dive with...I'll copy your post to her. Both Claire and Jane have normal sized t...eeth, it's a strange thing to ask, but then you are a dentist.

Claire and Jane were over there from the 9th for 3 weeks and a bloke in a restaurant wanted his photo taken with them as twins are a bit rare apparently.

Strange, all sheep look the same to me...

I'll get a pic of Claire next time we are diving and post it to you.
