I would be 400 #s (~180 kilos) if I lived where this stuff was readily available. Andy BTW- I was a little disapointed in the Becks Octoberfest

When I used to live on Martha's Vineyard years ago that was my favourite poison. Little Joe at Vineyard Scuba had a cellar full of it. I would be 400 #s (~180 kilos) if I lived where this stuff was readily available. Andy BTW- I was a little disapointed in the Becks Octoberfest As a layabout ex-student though it was only an occasional treat, generally it was Glacier Bay or, if really desperate, Naraganset. Somebody, somewhere must have an awful lot of gnats to produce that amount of piss. Older and wiser, I became addicted to Keiths Ales when I was living in BC. Praise the Lord, I am back in the land of proper beer, Black Sheep on draught in a pub walking distance from my door. The Colonies have a lot going for them but beer is not one of them. Cheers, Stuart

I have become fond of a "Shandy" I've gotten a few of the bartenders here to make it for me. Just like when I was over on that side. Cold = Good .... ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: What American beer doesn't suck Who doesnt like Ceeeeeeers? (just to clarify, this beer is famous for its label that turns blue when its cold enough to drink and it is pronounced using only the side of your mouth and might require a slight face scruntch) |

![]() ![]() | Re: What American beer doesn't suck Anything from the Lost Coast Brewery, esp the Downtown Brown =9 If not that then a third vote for the Anchor Steam and the Sierra Nevada. I'd say Newcastle but that doesn't count under the rules =( Rob |

I just spent the summer in the Netherlands and I'll never order another Heineken in my lifetime. Seems to be the Corona of Europe. When I lived in Berlin, I got hooked on Pauliner and Warsteiner. But for an everyday beer that won't slow you down... no not Coors Light, Rolling Rock does it for me. Let's start a real thread: What English Food Doesn't Suck? Sorry chaps. When I travel to the big island, I have to bring my own spices. Begads it's aweful! I have to drink Guiness just to get enough caloric intake for the day and take immodium to keep the shats away from the food that didn't take. ![]()

| Nutty dentist - uwdriller Current Rebreather/s: | Re: What American beer doesn't suck well, i think Freef 's question was more of a philosophical nature does good american beer actual exist, or is american and good beer an oxymoron. Well as a german i am obviously highly biased, there is clearly only one nation who can make a good beer - you guessed Germany oh wait no there are actually two Germany and the Czech republic or wait a second - I think there are actually quite a few nations doing reasonable beer ( not as good as german for obvious reasons)
