| Re: Submatix CCR 100 SMS Nothing personal, but if your website is an attempt to attract customers, I'd redesign it. It is very irritating to navigate, and the pictures are far too small. Having said that (sorry) the rebreather looks really neat and compact. |

| New Member | Re: Submatix CCR 100 SMS Congrats Submatix on the mCCR certification! I must admit that I for a while had ben hoping for the forthcoming development and certification of another SCR/mCCR by another German brand - the name and make will be omitted here out of politeness - but since it seems that nothing much can be expected from those guys at Lake Constance any more (oops, there it slipped out...) I am very excited about the Submatix product line! Looking forward to getting in touch with you for cross-over training and test dives! P.S.: I must admit that abowie does have a point about the site navigation though... |

| Holger Berghäuser | Re: Submatix CCR 100 SMS In my opinion (I read the EN) it is not clear defined how the oxygen support for a system is to be done. there is only "it must guarantee the live support" So if all equipment is O2 certified and the manufacteur can guarantee that the messuring system is save enough and well documented I think there is no problem to get the CE. There are some other system out there with KISS-Style gassupport with CE on the market so why not. I think the CK can also get the CE when the WOB is in the CE range Holger |

| Re: Submatix CCR 100 SMS I think that the Aquatek Voyager is CE approved in the SCR version. This is what EN14143 states regarding the PpO2: «The apparatus shall under all conditions of use specified by the manufacturer automatically maintain an inspired partial pressure of oxygen greater than 0,20 bar. The inspired partial pressure of oxygen shall remain within the limits specified by the manufacturer. The inspired partial pressure of oxygen shall also be maintained at a partial pressure of less than or equal to 1,6 bar; except during the descent phase(s) of a dive for a period not greater than 1 min where it may increase to a maximum of 2,0 bar. In the event of a failure of the automatic system provision may be made for the addition of respirable gas by the diver. If fitted this shall also be able to satisfy the inspired partial pressure of oxygen requirements of this clause. Testing shall be done in accordance with 6.2, 6.7 and 6.15.» How can this be done in a KISS system? |
