![]() | Re: Submatix BOV for mCCR Salut Fred, Hi Stephane,Talking about the QC6 with Guilhem forced me to read the catalog again. While the flow is clearly indicated for the SESO connectors (female-body to male-stem), it is not so clear for the DESO ones. I'll email Swagelok tomorrow. I read the catalog but I understand the flow is the same for SESO and DESO .I know other diver use male-stem to female-body and it work's too .Waiting from your answer from Swagelok ... |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Submatix BOV for mCCR Did you mount the female QC6 on the bottle side or the BOV side? Yes. Initially, I had it the other way around, but talking with Stephane, I reversed it. In fact, I see little point about it:- when disconnecting, pressure flushes stuff out, so no difference between the two setups - when connecting, there will be a drop of water anyhow, which will end up in the middle of the connector, and will be pushed out towards the BOV. So I don't really see any reason to do it one way or the other, I've just mounted it female side on tank / male on bov in the hope of being more standard with what other people do, thus having a greater chances to enable gear exchange on the dock with friends using QC6 also. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Submatix BOV for mCCR Howdy Kevin ! Seems to be fairly common in Europe, although I know Dave Sutton is promoting CEJN connection on the other side of the pond. Clearly, a worldwide "de facto" standard would be good. Maybe you could start another thread / poll on the topic ? |

Just wondering if any of our common buddies were running these connections. I had contemplated running the QC6, in the end went with CENJ Cheers!! Kevin Howdy Kevin ! Just wondering if any of our common buddies were running these connections. Nicolas (nas) is planning. For the other, I'm still working hard to convince them on the benefits of the BOV . It's funny though, as I was probably one of the last few to move from OC to CCR, but I've probably been the first to order a BOV, at the same time as I got the rebreather. But I'm making progress, some of them are ordering one too ! |
