Will the QC6 connectors allow for enough OC gas flow/volume to adequately drive a BOV at greater depths- Lets say 5 ata or greater?Last edited by Parker : 23rd April 2008 at 18:58. |

This is what I've been told, unlike the QC4 connectors. And I know a few friends who have tested their BOV (well) below 40m simulating heavy panting at depths, with no issue reported. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Submatix BOV for mCCR Yes, what is the result? Did you get your money? Stephane, yes he did, as I had posted above before it was deleted by a Mod as "irrelevant to the thread". And I couldn't agree more on this How do they say in UK, have some green ?Anyhow, I've tested the QC6 yesterday, it's sooo easy. Throw the bailout tank over the gumwale (clipped of course ), jump in, attach tank to harness, click, operate bov to check: fresh gas, yeah. I've tested it at depth, and the free flow coming out of this POS regulator (still original Paragon) confirmed that the flow is good enough .Now I just have to switch over to the Mares reg (anybody has a spare conversion kit laying around ?), and I'll be all set. |

While the flow is clearly indicated for the SESO connectors (female-body to male-stem), it is not so clear for the DESO ones. I'll email Swagelok tomorrow.
