Shearwater on a Submatix

Has anyone fitted a Shearwater to a Submatix?

Re: Shearwater on a Submatix

Yes - with the standard cable for a VR3 you can monitor a single O2 cell without any problems. With the new multisensor head (up to three cells) you can monitor 3 O2 Cells with the Shearwater. But you will need to order this multisensor head customized for the Shearwarter to monitor all three cells.

Kind regards

Here is a link with a picture of the multi sensor holder:
submatix.com

(the page with the sensor holder is under the "developments" tab on the english version of the site. I tried to enter a direct link but the page was stripped from the link.)

I dive a Dolphin with a Shearwater and a 3 cell housing, it really works well.
