X1 Bungee Mount

It's taken longer than I'd hoped, but I have finally finished the mold for the bungee mount for the Liquid Vision X1.

Eric was kind enough to furnish me with a accurate physical model of an X1.

This mount is a bit of a departure from some of my earlier mounts. Given that the user interface on the X1 is "tap, tap" I did not want to encase the entire instrument in rubber.

This mount leaves most of the sides open.

Here are a few pictures.

I will have a very limited number available for testing.

Does it include the computer for the testing

I was checking out Meng Tze's X1 at Easter. I was trying to trade him my wet note pencil for the X1

If this is the same quality as the double butt- ring, another top quality product from Tobin. I can not wait to try one out.

I was lucky enough to get one of the initial prototypes from Tobin on the mount and now the final version.

It looks great! I just got back in town and will post some pics this weekend if Tobin has not already done so.

Tobin added a small tab on the front and back on the inside that nicely fits into the wrist strap opening on the X1.

It's absolutely amazing what he can make and the level of detail that's in the mount.
