Definitely not knocking the build quality..I am sure that they are top-notch, BUT way too pricey for me. I'll stick with my Clippards (which work just fine for me, and seem to be holding up fine in the many rEvo's out there). If I want to kill small game during my surface interval, I'll spend the 300 on something that uses bullets
The clippards work fine on the rEvos because paul has corrected the shortcommings in the valves.. They definately work much better than stock clippard valves.. I would never use a stock valve for life support, I havee seen them stick one too many times..

Hey Jakub.. Looks great.. but.. quick question..

What material are these made from? Plated Brass, 316SS, something else?

Thanks,

Scott

Re: Manual Injection Valve

Question regarding form/function of this valve....

It appears that this allows manual injection of an inboard gas supply (w/shut-off) or an offboard gas supply (w/QD). In this configuration, the offboard gas supply does not feed any of the system mechanics. For example, on the O2 side, the offboard O2 would not feed a solenoid, orifice, needle valve, etc. Likewise on the dil side, it would not feed a BOV plumbed from a dil manifold, an ADV, etc. Is this a common configuration, that is, offboard gasses only being fed to the rig via a manually controlled injection? Not knocking this at all, just a foreign configuration to me and I'd like to learn more about this rationalization.

regards,
ML

Re: Manual Injection Valve

Scott,

the valves are chrome plated brass.

Mike,

You can put a 3/8" T-swivel in the off-board port instead of an L-swivel and then branch to Solenoid/ orifice on the O2 side and BOV (manifold block) on the dil side.
But the block was mainly designed for our BMCLs, in that cofiguration the Solenoid/orifice and BOV are fed independently. Tryin' to keep it simple
