Re: Instant / Travel Stage Rigging

These stage rigs are now available for order on our website.

https://www.deepseasupply.com/index.php?product=1309

We ship worldwide, but must calculate freight to destinations outside the US manually.

I think it's cool that you're always dreaming up a keen-o new gizmo.

Is there something keeping the camlock from getting caught on something and opening? I guess the answer is lots o' velcro?

There's nothing unique about the cambuckle we use. The "tail" of the camband extends through the last slot (#4) in the buckle and velcros down to the balance of the band. That should keep the buckle closed and prevent or reduce unwanted opening due to snags.

I would buy a few if you also made them with the large butterfly clips.

Yes Please? Large clips are a must for us here.

Dave,

Are you looking for large bolt snaps or some other clip?

Large bolt snaps.... think ice cold water and 3 finger 5-7mm mitts. Zero dexterity.

Like to see this exact same kit done with conventional hose clamps too. Similar "carry it along" simplicity with a little more security. I know the bands work, but.... it would be *my* luck!

I get the cold water / big ass bolt snap connection. Just wanted to make sure you weren't look for, "gasp", suicide clips. I'll see what I can source in the way of jumbo bolt snaps.

Don't know about a hose clamp version. The existing stage rigs that use hose clamps work fine, and we try not to reinvent the wheel.

The real target of these stage rigs is the traveling diver.

I got 4 sets for myself and a couple of buddies. They are nicely made. Thanks!

I would buy more with larger bolt snaps. I think that would be a very nice option.

Aloha,
Charlie

Glad you like them, thanks for the feedback. I'm working on the bigger snaps.
