2nd stage Shut-Offs

Greetings,

You guys keep asking me to find stuff. I was finally able to source a nice small 2nd stage / LP hose shut off valve at a reasonable price.

From end to end the whole unit (after hose install) is just 1.25 inches. It has a short travel barrel to turn the gas on or off. The barrel is easy to grip with gloves.

These are perfect for bail out bottles, side mount bottles, BOV's, and can be used as a "Line Valve" by joining two LP hoses together with an adapter (AD6-3) - this is great for setting up off board gasses OR soft plumbing where you cant reach the HP valve.

You can order them online HERE on special $28.00 each.

Thanks for your continued support of Tech Diving Limited

Cheers

Re: 2nd stage Shut-Offs

Hi Joel,

The Apeks / Zeagle unit that looks very similar to this, uses some odd ball non standard scuba o-ring on the slide barrel. As these are dynamic o-rings on a regulator or Rebreather, they should be replaced with annual service. Can you disassemble one of these units and check to make certain that American standard o-rings will work for annual service? I know this sounds picky, but some shops are having problems servicing the Apeks units because of the non-standard o-rings.

what direction do they use for open close? I have seen some that close when the slider is pulled toward the 2nd stage rather than open.

Re: 2nd stage Shut-Offs

yes, they look good, and seem very small unlike the other shut off valves, that seem to extend the hoses to at least 10cm....

i 've placed an order via your website, but its still in some enquiry mode? i dont know what the problem is, but if you have sorted it out, you can add a couple of those on it, and shipp it to Cyprus....

am sort of anxious to receive my stuff.

Cheers.

Pull to hose to open.

Sort of like a door. Pull to open when on the outside of it.

Cheers
