Re: new to rebreather world

Hi wasiza,

Welcome to RBW

The Poseidon MKVI is a good Rec eCCR rebreather and light tec with trimix.
\
very easy to learn rebreather diving with this unit.

Good to 48m with trimix and I think soon to be certified to 60m.

APD is also has good units to 100m with trimix.

Find a good instructor that can give you what you want!!

Try a couple rebreathers and then pick one that works for your diving needs.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards Garry

Re: new to rebreather world

Hello Wasiza,

Kim here from KISS Rebreathers; welcome to rebreather world!

Of course my opinion is seriously biased! However, we do have units that work very well in both a recreational and technical diving environment. Our units are designed to grow with the diver as they gain experience and want to dive deeper. yet are still simple and easy to dive when we just want to have fun in shallow water.

If you would like more information on the KISS please send an email to info@kissrebreathers.com.

have a great day,

Kim

Hi there and welcome!

When it comes down to unit recommendations be aware that among rebreather divers everyone thinks his own unit is the best one. Some instructors or dealers might have a commercial agenda. Be careful! Try to get as much information as possible, read online, try to talk to people in real live, make a short list of 2-3 CCRs and do try dives... Try to stay as objective as possible until you choose a unit, then you might get emotionally attached to your chosen one anyway

Cheers

Christian
