Re: Which alcohol is the best for toothache.

ethanol as methanol will make you blind. On a serious note try to find clove-oil. It is used in emergy dental kits for travellers. If you can't find it a clove itself will have to do.

Just know this is no substitute for getting seriously drunk :D

Bombay Blue over ice, twist of lime, tonic. Swear by it, and I haven't had toothache for years. I believe mai tais may also work, just don't poke yourself in the eye with the umbrella. Listen to one who knows...

EDIT: Works best if taken in conjunction with this; guaranteed to take your mind off anything.

Re: Which alcohol is the best for toothache.

As per Navy specs, pure grain alcohol (190 proof) used to disinfect air hoses in direct or ....hmm indirect way.:)
Word of caution: Unskillful swallowing may cause short term eye barotrauma and mid to long term voice change.

JD, is a sour mash not good for anything, go for the single malt 20 year old
scotch or better still a NewFoundLand Screech, you won't need pills then.

all the best.

Breath in, then swallow up a cup of 190 proof and you can sing 'Wonderful life' like Luis himself. Speaking from experience.

PS. JD will work but you have to get the rectifying column.
